Forms for the 2018 show are still in the works in the meantime here are the details regarding the photo show and competition.
This show is open to all photographers, amateur to professional. The show is held at First Presbyterian Church 320 Market Street Berwick. The event will run Saturday October 13th 2018 from 3-5 No entries may be removed prior to the close of the show.
~ Entries may be brought to the church during the following hours: Saturday October 13th from 1:00p-2:00p. Competitors must have their photos at the church during this time to be judged. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture in the competition.
~Valley Clicks will provide a 4’x6’ display area and hooks to display photographs for all exhibitors. Photographers are asked to bring any supplies they may need. Small tables, business cards, albums etc. may be set up by your display wall as long as they are not a fall hazard to guests.
~Valley Clicks will handle the setup and tear down of display walls. Photographers are asked to set up and take down their own hooks and photographs. Valley Clicks will handle the setup and display of the competition area.
Art & Artist:
~Photographs must be original to the photographer and may not have been shown in a previous First Presbyterian show. All photo’s must have been taken within the past three years. Your signature on the form and the registration form denotes your acceptance of Valley Clicks policies and verifies that the entries are your original work.
~Photographers who are exhibiting must be present during the event!
~ All photographs are to be framed with screw eyes and wire for hanging. No saw tooth.
*Prints should be a minimum of 8 x 10 not to exceed 11 x 14.
*Frame size should be a minimum of 8 x 10 not to exceed 16 x 20.
* This size requirement is for the competition only! If you are displaying photos there is no size requirement!
~Photographers may enter a maximum of two photographs per category to be judged at a cost of $5 per photo
The photographs can be color or black and white, matted or unmatted.
A cash prize and ribbon will be given to best of show, first, second and third place winners. We will also have a people’s choice award.
Photographs will be judged by Will Michael Photography Bloomsburg. The winners will be announced at 4:30pm
~The closing date for the photography registration and entries is October 6th 2018. Forms should be mailed to PO Box 325 Berwick Attn: Heather Botto
Rules on subject matter: no nude or tasteless photographs are to be displayed. Work deemed inappropriate will be dismissed.
Liability: First Presbyterian will not be responsible for damage, theft or loss of work.
